Information on taking again your bank charges

$109,151 Clickbank Secrets -Click Here

Bank Charges have become a way of life for the majority of us, If we keep claiming to get our bank charges back, They cant ignore us forever, I mean imagine how much you have been robbed of in the last 6 years in charges. Now is your chance to get it all back. Surely it can't cost between £25-£39 to return a direct debit. I think it is just another way of leaving this society in more and more debt so banks can have a competitive game against each other; meanwhile good and honest people are losing money. The governing body at the moment are saying that £12 would be more sufficient, I guess in a way £12 is better than £40 but still we will be getting charged £12 for falling into the red even if its only for a day. Tell me do you think it is fair and eventually it will all pile up then we will not be able to pay and the process starts again. No one is saying that banks shouldn't charge but why so much? I think a couple of pounds would be sufficient enough.

All you have to do is ask your bank for a list of charges in the last 6 years, you are by law entitled to your information because of the data information act. Then write a letter to the bank asking for the money back. The bank will try all tactics to put you off saying you are not entitled to any money back, don't be put off or they may try to negotiate a partial settlement, Which is the most tempting part of the procedure especially if you are struggling for money but if you keep at it you will get the full amount or near it. No bank has ever contested a bank charges case. It all sounds very simple but the bank could take months to get to the stage of paying anything out.

The Financial Ombudsman Service is an independent and free service, which provides and settles disputes between the banks and us the customers. Although The FOS will only get involved if it has been 8 weeks or more since your first letter, although in some cases the banks will send letters suggesting to go to the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman can take up to 3 months to settle your case. So if you haven't heard anything it would be better to call the Ombudsman direct and ask to take on your case, they will then send you a claim form that you will need to fill in explaining your circumstances and then send it back with your signature.

If the bank still refuses to accept the claim you could always get the bailiffs to retrieve your money although this is very rare, but you are fully entitled to do so.
